After consulting Miriam Webster, I think I’ve found a single word to describe the Republican presidential candidate, the entirety of his existence on Earth and the vast majority of his poorly-educated, seemingly downtrodden, still frothing-at-the-mouth supporters.
Pathetic.
Yup, pretty much applies to the person, his “Make America Great Again” sideshow and those aptly-named “basket of deplorables” following the circus train from town to town…
Pathetic.
Insisting both participants pee in a cup before the third presidential debate, claiming it’s necessary because his opponent is taking performance enhancing drugs.
Pathetic.
Assaulting women for decades, bragging about it on tape, then denying those assaults took place. Delusional.
…and, yes, pathetic.
Encouraging U.S. citizens to intimidate other U.S. citizens in a feeble attempt to suppress the Democratic turnout on election day.
Pathetic.
Characterizing journalists as being overtly biased, then thwarting those very same journalist’s efforts to conduct disciplined, rigorous investigative reporting.
Pathetic.
Planting seeds of doubt beforehand regarding the legitimacy of the outcome of the election itself, since he’s most assuredly going to lose on November 8th.
Pathetic.
I’m deeply saddened by, (but definitely not sympathetic to), the hateful outbursts we’ve all been subjected to in the past seven days, (some from the candidate himself, others from his so-called surrogates). This man is a fundamentally bad business person, a poor excuse for a human being and possesses an incredibly weak mind.
Yup. He’s definitely pathetic.
